This feature allows you to run two copies of the N4PY program in a local
and remote computer that communicate with each other for remote operation.

Supported Operations
All N4PY programs have support for the Telepost LP-100A watt meter and also the Telepost
LP-Pan panadapter. See www.telepostinc.com for information of these products.
N4PY programs have support for the Griffin Technology Powermate.
This is a knob that is connected to the USB port and can be used as
a software controlled tuning knob. This is very helpful for radios
that do not have a remote tuning pod as this allows knob tuning while
using full software control of the radio. For information on this
USB tuning knob (called the "Powermate"), see www.griffintechnology.com
N4PY programs fully support the LDG AT-200PC Autotuner.
By using this tuner, tuning your antenna has never
been easier. This allows the program to recall tuner settings
when going to a new band without the need to transmit.
N4PY programs fully support the Palstar AT-Auto tuner.
The N4PY program will keep this tuner up to date on the current
frequency to allow the tuner to set its tuner values without
the need to transmit.
N4PY programs fully support the LDG DTS-4 and DTS-6 coax
antenna switch via serial port control. This means my program
will automatically select each antenna position via frequency ranges
that you define for each antenna switch position. There is also a
simple way to manually select antenna positions via a mouse click.
N4PY programs fully support the Tokyo High Power Amplifier HL-1.5KFX.
Regardless of what radio you are actually running, my program will send
Kenwood commands to this amplifier through a second serial port. This
allows full automatic band switching for the amplifier even with Tentec
radios.
N4PY programs support the Acom 2000 Amplifier. As you change frequencies
on your radio, the Acom 2000 will automatically tune itself to the new frequency without
the need to transmit.
N4PY programs fully support the K1EL winkey and winkey II keyer.
Band buttons - There are 9 CW band buttons, 9 SSB band buttons,
and 11 SWL band buttons. The SWL band buttons can be redefined to
any frequency range you desire. Some make these be digital band
buttons.
Full TenTec remote tuning pod programability - You can define each
of the 18 buttons on the TenTec remote tuning pod for over 30
different functions for the tuning knob.
Full tuning pod emulation - You can emulate a tentec remote tuning
pod with the PC keyboard F keys and the mouse wheel. You can even
even define an F key as an "UP" key for instant split. If the
DX station suddenly announces he is listening up 5, all you do
is press the "UP" key followed by a 5. This instantly makes VFOB
be VFOA plus 5 khz and turns on split.
Radio memory save to a file and restore from a file - Most radios
have a way for the program to save and restore memories. This allows
easy setup of radio memories.
Amptune feature allows saving amplifier drive setting for each
band segment. And when you use this feature to tune your amp,
the program automatically moves the radio up 5 khz and then moves
it back when the tune is complete.
Automatic 10 minute CW ID.
Calibrate - You can calibrate your radio so that the program displayed
frequency is very accurate.
Very flexible Transverter support - The program allows up to 7
transverters to be user defined. You can specify the drive level,
frequency range, and IF frequency for each transverter. This allows
the program to always display the actual operating frequency and
you don't have to worry about forgetting to lower your drive.
Unique control of Sub-receiver - For radios that have a sub-receiver,
right clicking on most buttons sets the values in the sub-receiver
for that button function.
Right click on "Split" button to set repeater offset - For FM mode
right clicking on the split button will set the normal split offset
for the current operating frequency.
Panadapter support - Any Flex radio, the RFSpace SDR-IQ, or the Perseus receiver can be
combined with your radio for perfect Panadapter operation. Also,
a panadapter radio, contest logging program, and CW Skimmer can all
be configured to run with the program at the same time.
Program will not allow you to transmit outside your license class
Band edge lines between CW and SSB can be moved to allow for Foreign
operation and make the band edges match the countries operating
privileges.
